NU*U is seeking Hairstylist to Join the NU*U Family of friends. Our Goal is to fill all of the Chairs and together build the business together, where everyone does Great and builds a future together.

our new digital sign system that will use two TV's , one facing outside the front window, the other facing inside. It' pretty cool.
Look for the NU*U free standing sign, in front of 248 Franklin Ave. (next door) with its grand QR CODE at the center, making it the first of its kind in the Southend. The QR can be scanned from a car, and/or the sidewalk.
We want to thank Humberto Canavid for his expert work in creating a second sign for us, with hopefully more of his brillant signs to come as the Southend Flourishes.

As of January 2023, NU*U has one remarkable hair stylist, Maria who is Colombian trained and has decades of Experience.
NU*U has a wonderful Posse of angels that make the Magic happen. First and foremost, our beautiful Kat, who everyday devotes her heart, mind and spirit to making NU*U a better place to be. Alexandria, Angelita, Betty, Sandra, Mo and the whole Posse make NU*U more than a hair salon it's HOME and where beautiful women, leave even more beautiful by enhancing their unique beauty

we are so grateful for our friends, customers and allies that help get the word out about NU * U, by handing out NU * U business cards, and going door to door distributing NU * U postcards, and by getting a few people together and blanketing a neighborhood.
We ask everyone to PLEASE spread the word about this wonderful little Gem in the Heart of the Hartford South end.
We ask everybody to use their imaginations and to create fun ways to get the word out, whether friend to friend and/or on social media.
HEAD HUNTERS !
We are looking for assistance with finding qualified Bilingual Hairstylist to come rent the three rental chairs, on a permanent basis. (One year), we will compensate our friendly headhunters in ways to be discussed, either by free hair styling or with a flat $250 one-time fee, per chair rental. Once all of the chairs have been rented and our family of friends has been assembled, this offer will be moot, so go for it !

We are looking to rent two hair stylist chair/stations, on a long-term basis.
We offer great rates that were decided upon by hair stylist who once rented chairs themselves. Associates pay 50% of their earnings, up to $200 weekly, this means once you reach your weekly $200 you keep the rest of your earning. . We expect Associates to have their own Client book, and hair stylist retain their own clients. New walk-ins are rotated between available-free hair stylist.
Applicants Must be professionally trained, Drama-free, and have a glowing personality, and must be willing to assist in Marketing online and old-fashion passing out cards & post cards etc. All of our Hair stylist and most of our clients speak Spanish and we require all of our associates to be completely fluent in both English and Spanish, and it will be helpful to translate when needed.

NU*U is in the heart of the South end of HARTFORD, on Franklin ave. Touch Nails, a wonderful nair salon is right next door, so people can go have their nails done at TOUCH NAILS, then come have their HAIR done at NU*U.
The neighborhood has many wonderful Gems, that include THE CORNER CAFE, a traditional Mexican food restaurant that is truly wonderful, healthly and fairly priced. Franklin avenue once known as Little Italy, is now much more culturally diversified, with new Flavors and markets to enjoy by all.
the envioroment within NU*U is tranquil and charming, with Hispanic music playing, and two large TV's providing entertainment. The Theme is ANGELS, and our collection of figurines and statues is growing Weekly. Friends have said that NU*U is the Salon of Angels, for Angels.
The waiting area and front window area is Lush with Tropical Plants, many people admire our little Jungle, and we often share our plant-care secreets.
Bevarages are free to paying Clients and we have several bowls of sweets located throughout.
